Echo Technologist Job in Columbus, NE

Columbus Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to join their ultrasound department in Columbus, Nebraska. This is a 89-day travel assignment running 4x10 hour day shifts, beginning August 24, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work as a Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer in an acute care setting, performing echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures. The department operates five ultrasound suites equipped with Philips equipment, where you'll provide high-quality diagnostic imaging to support clinical decision-making.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac/Vascular (Echo) Sonographer in an acute care setting
• Active BLS certification issued through American Heart Association
• CPI or MOAB certification (on-site MOAB training available for $150 if not currently certified)
• Skills checklist to be completed within one year of assignment start
• Two professional references from work history within the past three years, with one from a supervisor
• Clean professional record with no current or prior discipline on license or certification
• No felony convictions (minor traffic violations acceptable)

You will work in a modern ultrasound department with current equipment and supportive colleagues. Scrubs of any color are permitted, provided they do not display names of other healthcare facilities. Compensation and Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $3,091 for the 89-day assignment. Hours are structured as four 10-hour day shifts per week, providing extended weekends and a predictable schedule.
