Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts with every other weekend requirement
• 1-2 nights of call per week depending on rotation schedule
• Holiday rotation required with core staff
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS, RVT is a plus, vascular experience preferred
• Perform various imaging studies including OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, carotid arteries, DVT studies, renal arteries, para, thora, and biopsies
• Average of 10 scans/studies performed per day
• Work with GE L8 and L9 ultrasound equipment
• Utilize McKesson, Cerner, and Vrad EMR and PACS systems
• Rotate to outpatient areas as necessary
• Work in department with 4 scanners: 2 in outpatient and 2 in inpatient
• Radiologist available in-house 8 AM to 5 PM
• IV starts not required
• Teal scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Department specific orientation provided
• Must submit 2 supervisory references at time of application
• Charting system: Cerner
