Telemetry RN Job in Greensburg, PA

Westmoreland Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on the night shift. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 8, 2026, with 4x12 shift scheduling and weekly pay of $2,820.10.

Position Details:

• Night shift on a PCU/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 5 patients per nurse on nights and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• Float required as needed within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Primary diagnoses include CHF, new onset AFib, COPD, and pneumonia

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage telemetry monitoring both on-unit and remotely
• Administer and manage drips including Heparin, Bumex, Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone, and Dopamine (no titration)
• Perform cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, BiPAP/CPAP, blood products, and chest tubes
• Provide tracheostomy care and wound care
• Manage pacemakers and heparin protocols
• Apply hypoglycemic and insulin protocols; no insulin drips administered

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Active PA or Compact license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Two supervisor references preferred
• Must be available to work every other holiday

• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
