Sterile Processing Technician Job in Ewa Beach, HI

Queen's Medical Center – West Oahu is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 16-week travel contract. You will work a rotating shift schedule with 40 hours guaranteed per week, beginning November 9, 2026.

Your Role

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will prepare, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment to meet hospital standards and support patient safety. You will operate sterilization equipment, organize and store instruments, and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Your work directly supports surgical teams across the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years consecutive Sterile Processing Tech staff experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current Central Supply Technician Certification
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid from application through contract end

Schedule and Contract Terms

• Rotating shift schedule, 40 hours per week guaranteed
• 16-week contract duration
• Requested time off (RTO) limited to maximum 7 days during initial contract, Wednesday through Wednesday
• May be floated to other areas within your skillset based on operational needs
• Failure to meet compliance requirements will delay your start while the end date remains fixed, which may shorten your overall contract length

You will be based in Ewa Beach, Hawaii at Queen's Medical Center – West Oahu, a full-service hospital providing comprehensive care to the West Oahu community.
