Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM<br>• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed<br>• Floating to other units required<br>• Charge capability highly preferred<br>• Navy blue scrubs required<br>• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience<br>• Travel experience required<br>• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC<br>• EPIC EMR experience required<br>• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS report verification<br>• Care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric populations<br>• Handle common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure<br>• Utilize specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun<br>• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department designed to handle a full spectrum of medical emergencies and critical care situations.
