Endoscopy Technician

Opportunity:

Endoscopy Tech - Endo Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts with start times varying between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM based on daily caseload
• Typically 30 cases per day performed at the facility
• Full-time position
• Required to rotate shifts and accept on-call assignments
• Assist with coordination of care for patients in the endoscopy department
• Responsible for preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of endoscopy equipment and supplies
• Assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures
• Establish and maintain sterile fields, pull cases, and assist with endoscopy procedures
• Apply knowledge of sterilization concepts and methods, aseptic techniques, and endoscopy instruments
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous experience in an Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit preferred
• GI Tech experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• GI certification from SGNA Associates preferred
