PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work three 10-hour shifts per day, with Saturday and Sunday required and flexibility on the third day
• Hours are flexible
• Inpatient acute care setting
• Coverage throughout the hospital including orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and post-surgical units
• May include ICU coverage with option to manage general floors only
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting required
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required for those licensed after 2016
• Active Illinois PT license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Solid computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft software required
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail required
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served
• Ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, and formulate treatment plans required
