Cath Lab Technologist Job in Margate, FL

You'll work as a Cath Lab Technologist at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, Florida. This is a backfill position running 91 days, starting March 10, 2026.

Your Role

You'll support a 4-room cardiac catheterization laboratory with 1:1 patient ratios. Your responsibilities include operating GE Innova equipment, utilizing Meditech and MacLab EMR systems, and performing cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stent procedures, balloon procedures, and ENT lab procedures. You'll participate in scrubbing procedures as needed and work in a fast-paced environment that demands critical thinking and focused patient care.

Schedule and Environment

You'll work 4x10 days, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, a Director, and 4 staff members per room (16 total per shift). On-call responsibilities are frequent and require flexibility to adapt to unit needs. Night shift operates with an on-call team structure of 3 per call team, 7 total.

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment
• RCIS certification preferred
• Team player mentality for a close-knit team environment

Additional Details

Dress code requires red and gray scrubs in Cath and EP Labs; unit scrubs are available. You must be an Allied Health Professional with the competency to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume procedural setting.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,628.
