TRAVEL - PHYSICAL THERAPIST - PT (762) 7:00AM-5:00PM

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday schedule with 9-10 hour days<br>• Adult Inpatient Acute Rehab unit serving 735 beds<br>• 1:1 patient ratios for individualized care<br>• Pick up assignments in main rehab office, then travel unit to unit and room to room treating patients<br>• Work in acute care setting with all single patient rooms<br>• Use patient lifting equipment (SARA+, Stedy, Maximove), walkers, and gait belts<br>• Document using Cerner Power Chart system<br>• No floating policy requirements<br>• Evaluate patients in acute care hospital setting and develop comprehensive care plans<br>• Supervise and coordinate therapeutic care while communicating results to patients, families, and staff<br>• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, Speech Therapists, and Rehab Techs<br>• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy required<br>• Current North Carolina Physical Therapy license required<br>• BLS certification required<br>• Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred<br>• Experience with orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary procedures helpful<br>• Professional street clothes dress code (no scrubs)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This flagship hospital is licensed for 815 beds and serves as the region&#39;s referral center with the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
