<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM<br>• Minimum 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine required<br>• Prior travel experience required<br>• Must have completed approved program in Nuclear Medicine or other appropriate training<br>• Must be certified with the Society of Nuclear Medicine or eligible for certification<br>• New Mexico Radiology Technologist License required<br>• BLS certification required or must obtain per policy upon hire<br>• CNMT certification required<br>• Provide patient services using imaging modalities and perform nuclear medicine procedures<br>• Apply principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle<br>• Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures<br>• Provide patient care essential to nuclear medicine procedures<br>• Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures<br>• Must be competent in components of Nuclear Medicine practice as appropriate<br>• Maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the surrounding community, featuring a nuclear medicine department equipped with modern imaging technology.
