Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Deming, NM

Mimbres Memorial Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Deming, New Mexico. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for 40 hours per week at $2,376 weekly.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures using imaging modalities to provide patient services
• Apply principles of radiation protection and follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) guidelines
• Exercise professional judgment in procedure performance
• Provide patient care essential to nuclear medicine operations
• Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures as needed
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and medical staff
• Demonstrate competence in all components of nuclear medicine practice appropriate to your role

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• Completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine program or equivalent training
• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification
• Certification with the Society of Nuclear Medicine or eligibility for certification
• New Mexico Radiology Technologist License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at hire or obtained per facility policy
