X-Ray Technician Job in Chico, CA

Enloe Medical Center is seeking an X-Ray Technician for our Outpatient Imaging department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 9, 2026, working three 12-hour day shifts per week at $2,187 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Position and prepare patients for x-ray imaging of chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, and ankle
• Perform imaging procedures independently without direct supervision
• Operate x-ray equipment, process images, and document into PACS
• Obtain vital signs, place patients in exam rooms, and prepare patients for clinician evaluation
• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse
• Obtain specimens including blood draws if qualified
• Assist clinicians with selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual
• Maintain an orderly, well-stocked work area with supplies and equipment
• Float to Main Radiology department as needed

Required Credentials and Experience:

• Current Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services
• Current CPR Certification
• California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
• Current ARRT licensure
• EPIC EMR experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred

You will work in an outpatient imaging setting with exposure to diverse patient populations and imaging modalities. Your independent judgment and ability to work within established protocols are essential.
