<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PACU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit<br>• Level 1 Trauma experience required with minimum 1 year of nursing experience<br>• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting<br>• Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures<br>• Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs and attend education programs<br>• Assess readiness to learn of patients, families, and caregivers<br>• Identify expected patient outcomes and participate in care plan revisions<br>• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects<br>• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans<br>• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs<br>• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for patient care evaluation<br>• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare and update care plans<br>• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC)<br>• North Carolina RN license required<br>• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required (BSN or MSN preferred)<br>• Manager will screen all candidates prior to placement</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This comprehensive medical center serves as a major academic healthcare institution providing advanced medical care and specialized services.
