Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 30-bed Med/Surg Telemetry acuity adaptable unit
• Patient ratios vary based on level of care needs, ranging between 1:5 and 1:6
• Floating to other units is required
• Solid black scrubs required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic experience within the last 12 months required and must be listed on resume
• Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months required
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Charge nurse experience highly preferred but not required; candidates without charge experience must be willing to be trained
• Charge nurse responsibilities include patient assignments, Pyxis checks, crash cart checks, assigning admissions, serving as liaison to supervisor, assigning breaks and meals, and making assignments based on care needs for the next shift
• Block schedules accommodated on a case-by-case basis; must note interest in block schedule at time of submission
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed; no time off permitted during first two weeks of assignment
• Interview required; available dates and times must be provided at submission
