<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - IMC</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week<br>• Work every other weekend and every other holiday<br>• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units<br>• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back<br>• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio on 36-bed medical surgical intermediate care unit<br>• Provide care for patients with heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke<br>• Manage insulin drip patients and primary care responsibilities<br>• Work in fast-paced environment requiring independent task completion<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)<br>• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required<br>• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred<br>• Ventilator/trach experience required<br>• At least 1 prior travel experience required<br>• EPIC charting experience preferred<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor&#39;s degree preferred<br>• Any color scrubs permitted<br>• Must be located outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Clinical interview required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced care services including a 36-bed medical surgical intermediate care unit.
