Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Midland, MI

You will provide direct patient care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting at MyMichigan Health - Midland. This is a temporary position running 91 days, starting October 12, 2026, on a 4x10 day shift schedule at $3,173 weekly.

Core Responsibilities:

• Care for patients before, during, and after angiography, interventional, and diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform pre-procedure assessments, administer pre-medications, document the catheterization process, and provide post-procedure care and patient education
• Scrub in for procedures and assist other cardiac catheterization laboratory team members
• Conduct cardiac diagnostic nursing procedures including stress echocardiograms, treadmill exams, nuclear and pharmacologic stress testing, tilt table testing, echocardiograms, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Assist with preparation, procedure, and recovery for interventional radiology procedures
• Evaluate and screen patients for safety prior to testing
• Provide sedation monitoring in accordance with hospital policy and document appropriately
• Perform Holter monitor, event monitor, and ambulatory blood pressure monitor applications; conduct pacemaker interrogations
• Insert PICC lines and function as a vascular access expert
• Operate and manage cardiac monitoring equipment, hemodynamic monitors, pacemakers, ICDs, intraaortic balloon pumps, defibrillators, IV pumps, and stress testing equipment
• Record pertinent information on data sheets and develop cardiovascular education materials

Schedule and On-Call Requirements:

• Approximately 10 days of on-call coverage per month, including IR/Vascular and STEMI coverage
• 1 to 2 nights of call per week required

Required Qualifications:

• Active Michigan nursing license
• Cath Lab RN experience required
• Experience with Maclab hemodynamics software required
• Basic knowledge of IR and Vascular procedures required
• Impella device experience required
• Knowledge and operation of intraaortic balloon pump required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications current
• Skills checklist current to one year and specific to Cath Lab specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Travel work experience preferred
