Physical Therapist Job in Rochester, NH

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. This is a full-time position working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.

Role Overview

You will provide physical therapy services in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit located on the 3W floor, which has 19 beds. Your typical therapy-to-patient ratio is 5:1, allowing you to deliver focused care. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, speech-language pathologists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and patient care technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Document patient care using the Expanse documentation system
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and rounding practices
• Maintain high standards of customer service and communication
• Float to the medical-surgical unit if census is lower in inpatient rehabilitation

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire physical therapy license
• BLS certification required
• Inpatient care experience required
• Experience with neurological patients preferred but not required
