CT Technologist Job in Hilo, HI

You will work as a CT Technologist at Hilo Medical Center in Hilo, Hawaii, performing computed tomography scans and supporting the imaging department's clinical operations.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 rotating shifts
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 2, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,290
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols
• Operate Canon/Toshiba CT units independently without supervision
• Use Vitrea workstation for image processing and reconstruction
• Support CT procedures including biopsies, drainages, vascular imaging, cardiac imaging, trauma, and stroke protocols when needed
• Maintain EMR documentation using Meditech

Requirements

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) required before assignment start
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum two years of work experience in an acute hospital setting
• Ability to perform venipuncture
• Proficiency with MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging techniques

Important Terms

Shifts may vary based on operational need. You will be expected to function independently in the CT suite. No time off requests will be granted during the first 13 weeks of your contract.
