Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ MUSC Health Charleston

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Up to 4 call shifts per month (end of shift to 7:00 AM)
• Up to 1 weekend shift per month (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: Dec 24-26 or New Year's: Dec 31-Jan 1)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units/sister facilities
• 2 years of experience strongly preferred, first-timers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Serve adolescents, adults, and geriatrics patient populations
• Use EPIC charting system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• $20 registration fee for parking permit
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
