PACU RN Job in Saginaw, MI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at MyMichigan Health - Saginaw. This is a temporary position with a start date of October 12, 2026, and a duration of 91 days.

Schedule and Compensation

• Shift: 3x12 days
• Weekly pay: $1,944
• On-call required, most likely one night per week with occasional weekend coverage

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia
• Continually assess patients and carry out physician orders while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make suggestions or participate in updating and revising plans in collaboration with other team members
• Process physician and provider orders accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
• Follow up regarding medication changes and order clarifications

Requirements

• Active Michigan nursing license with LARA and/or Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to PACU specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification
