Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical inpatient care at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 119-day travel assignment starting June 4, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,102.40.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
• Three shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call shifts during low census periods
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff

Clinical Responsibilities

• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Float assignments to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units
• Operate telemetry monitoring equipment across different units
• Handle ventilator equipment including BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger devices
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical records system
• Remain flexible with changing assignments during your shift

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• BSN degree not required
