Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ Johnson City Medical Center

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in a hybrid PCU/Med Surg department with varying patient ratios (PCU 1:5, Med Surg 1:7)<br>• Schedule options available: 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48<br>• Rotating weekends and holidays required<br>• No call responsibilities<br>• Floating to Med Surg units required<br>• Must have minimum 2 years of experience<br>• Must have previous PCU experience within the past 2 years (hard requirement)<br>• Accepts first-time travelers with Level 1 trauma experience<br>• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIH, AHA ACLS<br>• 24-hour orientation with 16 hours non-billable<br>• 24/7 support available including phlebotomy, RRT, and supervisors<br>• Must participate in nursing student support and clinical education<br>• Experience with Epic charting system preferred<br>• Must live 100 miles from facility<br>• Required skills include telemetry monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP management, central line care, chest tubes, CVA care, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, and wound care<br>• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center operates as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing both progressive care and medical surgical telemetry services in a hybrid unit model.
