Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - IMC</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Guaranteed 36 hours per week<br>• 13-week contract length<br>• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday<br>• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units<br>• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back<br>• Contract end date is on Sunday, not Saturday<br>• Work in 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry<br>• Patient ratio of 4:1<br>• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke<br>• Manage primary patients and insulin drips<br>• Must have 2+ years of stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required<br>• ICU experience preferred, trauma level II preferred<br>• Ventilator/trach experience required<br>• At least 1 prior travel experience required<br>• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)<br>• EPIC charting experience preferred<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred<br>• Scrubs: any color allowed<br>• Fast-paced unit requiring hard workers who are resilient and manage change well<br>• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks timely</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing advanced inpatient services with a focus on intermediate care and trauma services.
