RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted if experienced Cath Lab RN
• On-call required on a rotating schedule of 1 week on, 3 weeks off
• May float to Interventional Radiology (IR) within scope to meet facility needs
• Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview if applicable
• Block schedule availability to be discussed during interview if applicable
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Orientation: 72 hours
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Florida license or compact license required
• Required skills include: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Dobutamine, Emergency Medications, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Catheterizations, Interventional Radiology, IV Infusion Pumps, IV Vasopressors, Left Heart Catheterization, 12-Lead EKG/ECG, Pacemaker Insertion, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal Agents, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, Right Heart Catheterization, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Thrombolytics, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Conscious sedation skills required
• Experience in Cardiac Cath and IR required
• Must pass EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• Smoke-free facility
