Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, WV

CAMC Women and Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in our 30-bed Operating Room, serving pediatric patients from newborn to 17 years of age.

Assignment Details

• Shift options: 5x8 hours (6:45 AM–3:15 PM) or 4x10 hours (6:45 AM–5:15 PM)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 6–8 call shifts required monthly with self-scheduling for weeknights and weekends
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Start date: June 25, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,160

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with 2 years OR experience required
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Scrub and circulate experience in both pediatric general OR and general OR
• Experience working in pediatric settings and women's specialty areas
• BLS certification required
• Permanent address minimum 75 miles from facility
• Flu vaccination required unless medical exemption provided

Preferred Qualifications

• IV start skills
• Robotic surgery experience

Unit Information

• Will not float to sister facilities
• Cannot guarantee blocked schedule; assignments based on unit needs
• Charting systems: Cerner, Accudose, SBAR
• Bright blue scrubs required
