SLP Outpatient Job in New London, NH

New London Hospital is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for an outpatient position in New London, NH. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, working 5x8 day shifts Monday through Friday with no on-call responsibilities or weekend requirements.

Compensation: $2,732 weekly.

Role Overview: You will evaluate and treat referred patients across acute, swing, and outpatient care settings, primarily working with geriatric populations while also serving younger clients. Your responsibilities include conducting modified barium swallow studies, providing swallow therapy, and delivering evidence-based speech therapy for aphasias, voice disorders, and cognitive impairments. You will set patient goals, plan and execute treatment based on medical referrals and records, provide discharge recommendations and family teaching, and determine when referral to other services is needed. You'll maintain accurate documentation, operate patient equipment safely, and communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and the administrative team.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CCC-SLP certification
• Active BLS certification (AHA)
• New Hampshire state license
• Minimum 2+ years current clinical experience
• Demonstrated experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency with modified barium swallow studies and swallow therapy
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment, language and communication aids, and devices
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Personal vehicle required
• Skills checklist current within one year
• One supervisory signed reference from employment within the past two years

Additional Information: Holiday shifts are required if scheduled, and you must be willing to work at least two holiday blocks if assigned. LSVT LOUD certification is a bonus. All requested time off must be noted and verified at submission; RTO requests after upload will not be approved. Previous travel healthcare experience is preferred.
