IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, with shift times of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Some Saturday shifts may be required
• 10-hour days plus call may be required per shift notes
• No call requirement and no floating outside of Radiology
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Work in Interventional Radiology unit consisting of 2 general IR suites, 1 Spine IR room, and 2 neuro endo suites
• Perform procedures including GI/GJ tubes, ports, angiograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, nephrostomy tubes, stents, IVC filters, and blood patches
• Neuro experience preferred for endovascular procedures, embolizations, stents, and stroke treatment, but not required
• Scrub experience preferred; RT scrubs with MD on sedation cases alongside 2 RNs
• Expected to work with Philips Allera and Medrad injector equipment
• EMR system: Cerner; Imaging system: DR (PACS)
• Typical caseload of 5 to 10 cases per day
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, ARRT (R), Arizona MRTBE-CRT license
• VI certificate is a plus but not required
• BSN not required
