PCU Registered Nurse Job in Orangeburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at MUSC Health Orangeburg. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 19, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Schedule: 3x12 hour day shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,814.40

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients
• Work with a daily census of 15 patients across the unit
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units as required
• May be assigned to hurricane season emergency response team (June through November)

Requirements

• Current South Carolina license or Compact license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Epic experience required
• Telemetry competency and cardiac telemetry experience required
• CPI certification preferred
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
