PCU Registered Nurse Job in Memphis, TN

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with 36 or 48-hour schedules (schedule may change during interview)
• Patient ratio of 1:4/5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Team nursing ratios of 1:12
• On-call as needed and weekend coverage as needed
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required (3+ years preferred)
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required: Telemetry, IV Start
• Must hold active RN license in state or compact RN license complying with NLC guidelines
• EPIC experience preferred
• ADN accepted for this position
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Provide care for cardiac stepdown patients requiring continuous monitoring
• Work in 48-bed unit with bedside and telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Care for patients with cardiac, pulmonary, and other disease processes
• Float between like units and campuses within 20-mile radius as needed
• Must be willing to work holidays if they fall during assignment period
