About this role
Arizona San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy department in Peridot, AZ. This is an 8-hour shift position with a duration of 180 days, starting July 6, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,575.
In this role, you will manage daily administrative operations of the pharmacy department, including supervising staff and coordinating departmental activities. Your responsibilities include:
- Direct and manage pharmacy department operations and supervise team members
- Develop operational and financial outcome measures with tracking and monitoring systems
- Direct, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures
- Assess program and service effectiveness and drive continuous process improvement
- Develop and supervise staff through performance management and timely feedback
- Plan, implement, and evaluate computer-based information and dispensing systems
- Manage purchasing and inventory management functions
- Facilitate professional growth by assessing learning needs and coordinating learning opportunities
- Prepare monthly progress and operational reports identifying improvement areas
- Participate in departmental orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance programs
Required Qualifications:
- Allied Health Professional credential as specified
- Minimum 5 years of professional pharmacy experience with 2 years of management experience
- Current and valid state pharmacy license; Arizona license preferred
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- 1-year residency (PGY1)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy practice experience
- Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications
- Local candidates preferred
