CT Technologist PET/CT Tech Job in Rochester, NY

URMC UR Imaging @ River Rd is seeking a CT Technologist with PET/CT experience for an 89-day travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role offers stable, predictable scheduling with no weekend, call, or holiday requirements.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Two shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $3,432
• Assignment duration: 89 days
• Start date: April 27, 2026

Your Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders before procedures
• Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and imaging exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Position patients and perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures
• Apply appropriate imaging techniques tailored to patient age and ability
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy per scope and standards of practice
• Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues, taking corrective action as needed
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately
• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
• Monitor patient condition continuously and respond to changes in status
• Maintain inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms

Required Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification
• NNMTCB CT, CNMT by NMTCB, or RT with NM certification by ARRT
• NYS License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Nuclear Technologist and CT Technologist
• CT certification with PET/CT experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE PET or Philips PET Scanners
