Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week available
• 13-week contract accepted
• No call, float, or weekend requirements
• Average daily census of 50 patients across 8 rooms
• Perform perinatal scanning for high-risk pregnancies including Level 2 detailed anatomies, early anatomies, growth scans, BPP, dopplers, NT, and TV scans
• Treat adolescent and adult patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include chronic hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus, growth restriction, and fetal abnormalities
• Required work setting skills: High Risk OB and Obstetrics
• Required general ultrasound skills: Abdominal aorta and appendix
• Required OB/GYN skills: 1st through 3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and placenta previa
• Required neonatal skills: Head and heart
• Additional required skills: Outpatient/MCA and UA Dopplers, Viewpoint, and fetal echo
• Required equipment experience: GE ultrasound equipment
• Required charting system: Epic
• Preferred skills include portables, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, spleen, amniocentesis, renal/pelvic studies, small parts imaging, and breast ultrasound
• Required certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted unless they have more than 2 years of experience
• Scrubs not provided; royal blue scrubs required
• Must have MFM scanning experience
