ICU RN Job in Prescott, AZ

You'll work as an ICU Registered Nurse at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - West in Prescott, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Your weekly pay is $2,260.08, with a start date of May 11, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

You'll provide care across multiple ICU areas including CVICU (12 beds), COVID unit (8 beds), MS ICU (8 beds), and PCU (16-20 beds). You'll manage complex patient conditions including post-surgical cases, cardiac procedures, CRRT, chest tubes, and arterial lines. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1-2 in ICU based on acuity and staffing, and 1:3-4 in PCU. You may float to PCU, MST, and EC ICU/PCU as needed. Two weekend shifts are required per pay period. You may be placed on call during low census periods, approximately once every 6 weeks.

Clinical Skills Required

• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract (80% passing score required)
• Strong EKG reading skills and ability to interpret ABGs
• Titrate critical care drips including pressors, paralytics, sedation, anti-arrhythmics, and heparin
• Comfortable with ventilator weaning and troubleshooting
• Experience with IABP and Prismaflex CRRT preferred

Orientation and Charting

Your orientation includes 8 hours of general hospital orientation plus 1-2 shifts with a preceptor. You'll use the Cerner charting system.

Additional Requirements

Professional scrubs in any color are required (transitioning to navy in October). Holiday requirements include one winter holiday and eve of another holiday.
