Special Procedures Technologist Job in Akron, OH

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio. This is a full-time position working 5x8 hour day shifts at $2,940 per week.

Position Overview

You will support interventional radiology and cardiology procedures in a specialty procedures environment. Your role involves assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cases, managing equipment, monitoring patients, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 18 months of permanent, paid experience in interventional radiology or special procedures required
• Active permanent Ohio license (compact licenses accepted for assignments starting January 1, 2023 and forward)
• Current BLS certification with no pending renewals
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty
• Nicotine-free status (applies to all travelers except Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists)

Onboarding

You will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. You have a maximum of 2 attempts to pass these assessments. Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed at the facility prior to your start date of November 9, 2026.
