CT Technologist Job in New Orleans, LA

Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans is seeking a CT Technologist to join its radiology department. This is a travel position with a 91-day assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Mixed shift pattern: 4x10-hour shifts (Wednesday–Saturday, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM) and 3x12-hour shifts (Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
• Weekly pay: $2,556
• Holidays worked as required per facility calendar

Role Overview

You will perform CT imaging across multiple care settings, including the emergency department, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics. The department operates 7 imaging rooms with radiology interdisciplinary support. You will float between the ED, main campus, outpatient services, and nearby clinics within walking distance of the main campus. Patient populations include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience required
• Epic electronic health record proficiency required
• GE equipment experience required
• Current driver's license with address more than 65 miles from the facility

New Orleans, Louisiana. You must be located more than 65 miles from the facility address at the time of application.
