Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on non-holidays
• Rotating on-call coverage required in addition to standard shifts
• On-call begins at 4:00 PM for 15 hours on weeknights
• On-call begins at 7:00 AM for 24 hours on weekends and holidays
• Department does not perform neuro cases
• 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Charting system experience required; Epic system used
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS
• Must be proficient with a wide range of IR procedures including angiography, angioplasty, embolization, PICC line placement, biopsies, and vascular interventions
• Experience with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, PACS, and Philips equipment required
• Must be able to maintain sterile field, scrub, and perform room circulator duties
• Skills required include central venous access, endovascular interventions, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS, IVC filter placement and removal, and nephrostomy procedures
• Must be able to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and utilize rapid response/code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
