About this role

Medical City Plano is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will provide direct patient care in an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting, working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with two weekend shifts per month on a rotating schedule.

Your Role

You will deliver one-on-one physical therapy treatments to patients across multiple departments and floors throughout the facility. Your work will span diverse clinical areas, including Trauma Level 1, Neuroscience, ICUs, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, and Orthopaedic & Spine services. You will also support the 40-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, providing therapeutic interventions using equipment such as walking devices, stationary bikes, parallel bars, and treadmills.

Schedule & Environment

This position offers day-shift hours only with no on-call or floating requirements. You will work across all facility floors and buildings, gaining exposure to a broad patient population with varying acuity levels and clinical needs.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings
  • Candidates with work history limited to skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, pediatrics, or school settings are not eligible
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records; this facility uses Meditech
