Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Goldsboro, NC

You will join the University of North Carolina Health Care System as a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 10-hour day shift position working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a 4x10 schedule. You will float between the Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Unit as needed to support patient care across both settings.

What you'll do:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a fast-paced cardiac environment
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety evaluations
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required for patient care plans
• Consult with appropriate resources for patients with complex care issues or high-risk discharge planning needs
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in performance improvement activities and unit goal development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all patients

What we're looking for:

• Current RN licensure
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Pre- and post-procedure experience highly preferred
• Acute Cardiac Care experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

This assignment runs for 89 days, starting November 9, 2026. You will earn $2,171 per week.
