CT Technologist Job in Jackson, Kentucky

Kentucky River Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 20, 2026. You will work Friday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, performing diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced medical environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and general diagnostic X-rays for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Conduct routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and portable radiographic procedures
• Assist with C-arm procedures and operating room imaging services
• Execute biopsy and drainage procedures under radiologist direction
• Administer contrast media when clinically indicated
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing and surgical/sterile procedures
• Provide timely diagnostic services according to departmental protocols
• Cover holiday periods as needed

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology school
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• State licensure as a general radiographer
• Demonstrated proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy

You will work under the direction of the radiologist and departmental protocols to deliver quality diagnostic imaging. This position is created to provide coverage during a leave period, offering you the opportunity to gain experience in a community healthcare setting.
