Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to be scheduled any day of the week
• Must be able to work holidays as needed
• No floating required
• This position has zero hands-on patient care
• Facilitate transfers for any patient type from hospitals within and outside of the organization
• Handle cases after intake process including patient assessments, vitals, and clinical information
• Locate accepting physicians and specialist doctors, identify appropriate facilities, and request bed placement
• Manage an average of 12 cases per shift, working on 10-15 cases at a time
• Utilize multiple computer applications including Cerner, TeleTracking, Tiger Connect, and all Google applications
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU, ED, or transfer center experience
• Must have acute care experience and critical care assessment skills
• Must have strong clinical judgment and ability to follow algorithms
• Must have Cerner or EPIC experience
• Must be professional with strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, and strong computer proficiency
• Typing proficiency required
• Scrubs required in any color as long as clean and professional; business casual attire also permitted (jeans with no rips, tears, or holes; clean hoodies with no large writing)
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Active RN license required
• BSN not required
