<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 day shifts (0700-1930) or 4x10 day shifts (0700-1730)<br>• Provide 2 days of late case coverage per week<br>• Must be able to start on 05/11<br>• 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required<br>• Unit accepts first time travelers with required EP experience<br>• No on-call or weekend requirements<br>• No floating requirements<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS<br>• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit<br>• DC license required in hand at time of submission<br>• Must be proficient with Cerner charting system and GE Cardiolab<br>• Required equipment experience: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens x-ray machine, GE Micropacer<br>• Preferred equipment experience: 3D mapping Biosense, 3D mapping Abbott/ESI, various ultrasound machines<br>• Required EKG experience: Inpatient, Outpatient, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms<br>• Perform special procedures including cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, device implants/explants<br>• Handle hemodynamic monitoring and ablation procedures<br>• Average daily caseload of 18 cases<br>• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations<br>• Scrubs provided by facility<br>• 20 hours of orientation provided<br>• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a 748-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital recognized as one of the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country. The facility features a comprehensive electrophysiology lab with 5 rooms and state-of-the-art cardiac equipment. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes advanced technology including Cerner charting systems and Pyxis medication management.
