OR RN Job in Kansas City, MO

Research Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Kansas City, MO. This is a backfill position offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic 18-operating room facility supporting a Level I trauma center.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 1, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

What You'll Do:

You will provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties, including cardiac, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, and gynecology procedures. Your operating room experience and technical skills will be essential as you work with advanced surgical technologies, including robotics systems such as DaVinci and Mako.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Operating room experience and demonstrated OR skills
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical systems preferred

What to Expect:

As a dedicated OR position, you will not be required to float to other units. You will focus entirely on perioperative nursing, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical teams in a fast-paced trauma and surgical environment.
