About this role
MUSC Health Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency & Imaging is seeking an Echo Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 30, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an Allied Health Professional looking for stable, predictable scheduling with no on-call or weekend requirements.
Position Details:
- Work 36 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Serve as the sole technologist on shift
- Manage a daily caseload of 10 to 12 patients
- No floating between service lines or sister facilities
- No on-call or weekend obligations
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE)
- Conduct vascular studies including lower extremity veins (LEVs), lower extremity arteries (LEAs), ankle-brachial indices (ABIs), carotid studies, upper extremity arteries (UEAs), upper extremity veins (UEVs), and groin duplex imaging (pseudoaneurysm assessment)
- Complete all charting via Epic
Requirements:
- Dual certification mandatory: RDCS/RCS and RVT credentials (CCI Certification accepted as alternative)
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Current BLS certification
- First-time travelers welcomed
Work Environment:
- Navy blue scrubs required
- No radiation badge needed
- Facility may call off one shift per two weeks
Compensation: $2,592 per week
