Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment with weekend coverage required
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Scrub colors: Ceil blue and/or black
• Rotate through NICU/ICU, COVID units, ER, floor work, nursery, and other departments
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Arkansas RRT state license required
• Required certifications: BLS, CRT or RRT
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Must have ER & ICU experience in acute care setting
• Skills required: Ventilator management, O2 therapy, airway management, respiratory treatments, suctioning, ABGs, EKGs
• Attend high risk deliveries including C-sections
• May stabilize infants and place on ventilators
• Work with RAM cannula, Vapotherm, and heated nasal cannulas
• Bedside PFTs and bronchoscopy experience preferred
• Experience with Level 2 nursery preferred
• Charting system: Meditech (preferred experience)
• Must pass basic dysrhythmia test (2 attempts allowed)
• Expect to work some holidays
