Long-Term Care CNA Job in Honolulu, HI

You will work as a Certified Nursing Aide at a day health center in Honolulu, providing direct care and support to adult day health clients. This is a 42-week assignment beginning July 6, 2026, working 5 days per week on day shift (8-hour shifts), at a weekly rate of $1,956.40.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide direct personal care assistance with activities of daily living, including eating and feeding, providing fluids, bathing, and dressing
• Assist clients with basic hygiene and grooming needs
• Perform basic nursing skills such as taking vital signs and measuring output
• Recognize and report abnormal signs and symptoms to nursing staff
• Support therapeutic and recreational activities appropriate for day health clients
• Provide restorative care, including assistance with assistive devices, range of motion exercises, and bowel and bladder training
• Correctly use and assist clients with bed pans, urinals, and commodes
• Apply proper body mechanics in all patient interactions to prevent injury
• Follow universal precautions and infection control protocols consistently
• Use basic medical and nursing terminology accurately in documentation and communication
• Demonstrate knowledge of the aging process and patient rights in all interactions

Requirements:

You must hold a valid State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Certificate demonstrating competency in basic nursing skills, knowledge of the aging process, first aid, patient rights, and infection control procedures.
