Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Patient ratios: 1:1 in procedure suite, 4:1 in preop and discharge areas
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
• On-call duties required
• Must live within 30 minutes of facility to respond to call as expected
• Float within scope to meet facility needs (highly unlikely)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Navy blue scrubs provided by facility
• Epic charting system
• Free parking with pass (downtown and northeast parking lots available)
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule accommodation possible with approval but not guaranteed
• Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS
• Handle pre/post procedure care and monitored anesthesia care sedation recovery
• Work with Olympus scopes and towers, gastro imaging software
• Manage airway, IV insertion and maintenance, specimen handling
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of 15
• Hurricane season assignment may include emergency response team duties (June-November)
