ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, Arizona

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a travel assignment. This is a 91-day position starting June 15, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 48-hour weekly guarantee available
• Compensation: $2,102.40 per week

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed emergency department
• Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care decisions
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Care for stroke receiving and STEMI receiving patients
• Float to other departments as needed
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Black scrubs (dress code requirement)
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
• NIH certification recommended but not required
