PCU Float RN Job in Cape Coral, FL

You'll work as an RN in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) float position at Cape Coral Hospital, supporting both the PCU and Emergency Department (ED) hold areas. This role requires you to be flexible and responsive to census needs, including the possibility of floating to sister campuses as required.

• Experience required: 2 years of PCU experience and ED holding experience
• Patient care: You'll manage a patient ratio of 4 to 6:1 depending on patient acuity, caring for adult and geriatric populations. You may be assigned patients in hallway settings during high-volume periods.
• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights, with a 92-day assignment starting January 8, 2027
• Compensation: $2,139.19 per week
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Licensing: Florida or Compact nursing license required with recent Nursys verification. Degree accreditation must be on your profile, or you must have 5 years of nursing experience.
• System: You'll document in Epic EMR
• Dress code: Galaxy Blue Scrubs
