Occupational Therapist Job in Reno, NV

You will deliver occupational therapy services at Renown Rehabilitation Hospital in Reno, Nevada. This is a 91-day travel position working nights on a schedule of 24-hour shifts.

Schedule and Hours

• Work 5x8 shifts, primary schedule Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating days as needed
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts; call requirements discussed during interview
• Required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• May float to other areas of the organization as needed, within your competency level

Your Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families and caregivers
• Conduct evaluations and develop plans of care for self-care activities, ADL skills, and community reintegration
• Deliver occupational therapy services through patient discharge
• Provide direct patient care and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions on ongoing care and discharge planning
• May participate in program development and outcome measurements in the clinical setting

Requirements

• Current State of Nevada Occupational Therapy License (Provisional License acceptable until State of Nevada Occupational Therapy License is issued)
• Minimum two years of clinical experience
• AHA BLS and CPR certification required upon hire
