Respiratory Therapist

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Every other weekend requirement (Saturday and Sunday)<br>• Every other holiday requirement<br>• No call or standby call requirements<br>• No floating requirements within respiratory therapy department<br>• Use AARC point system with assignment of 26-28 points per day<br>• Care for general medical, intermediate, and ICU patients including adults, pediatrics, and neonates<br>• Work with primary ventilators including Servo U, Servo i, and LTV<br>• Use Trilogy for BiPap, ResMed S9 for CPAP, and Fisher Paykel for heated high flow<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CRT or RRT via NBRC (RRT preferred)<br>• Must have experience in large critical care facility (300+ beds)<br>• Critical care experience required<br>• Must not have worked at any OSF facility in the past year<br>• Active Illinois license required<br>• Must pass drug screen for all panels<br>• Any color scrubs allowed (scrubs not provided)<br>• 36-hour orientation program with EPIC training, ventilator review, and precepted shifts<br>• Team lead available on each shift as resource support<br>• Hospitalist and intensivist available 24/7</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility with over 300 beds providing critical care services across multiple specialties.
