CVOR Technologist Job in Corpus Christi, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to work as a CVOR Technologist at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi Shoreline in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a full-time travel position running 91 days, starting July 6, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8 days
• Shift options: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,752

Responsibilities

• Prepare and care for pre-operative patients, including skin preparation
• Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for potential breaches
• Establish and maintain sterile field; pass instruments and sutures to physician
• Set up operating room tables, instruments, and supplies according to case type
• Use and maintain physician preference cards when pulling cases
• Transport patients to and from the operating room suite and position according to surgery type
• Identify and care for biological specimens
• Adhere to Universal Barrier Precautions and maintain proper traffic control, dress codes, and OR sanitation policies
• Demonstrate competency in decontamination, processing, and sterilization of instruments and supplies
• Provide patient care that meets population-specific and developmental needs

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program
• CST License or LVN/LPN License
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of neurosurgery experience
• Experience in vascular, major ortho trauma, and neuro spine

Preferred Experience

• Experience in general, ortho, plastics, urology, ENT, and vascular surgery
• Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas including transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, titanium rib, and robotics
